Senior Audience Engagement & Innovation

As Senior Audience Engagement & Innovation at WO2Net, I am constantly exploring new and creative ways to reach and inspire our audiences. By keeping a close eye on trends and developments both within and beyond our field, I stay attuned to emerging technologies and innovative practices. Together with creative makers and storytellers from disciplines such as film, XR, theatre, and documentary, I develop pilots, prototypes, and interactive projects. These initiatives often emerge through co-creation with partner organizations and are driven by themes such as multiperspectivity, inclusivity, and contemporary relevance. Immersiveness, interactivity, storytelling and audience participation are powerful tools to transform new insights into meaningful experiences.

A key part of my work involves networking and connecting people across disciplines — facilitating the exchange of ideas and stimulating collaboration within and beyond the World War II heritage field. My mission is to ensure that stories about the Second World War remain relevant and accessible to everyone in the Netherlands — not only to tell these stories, but to truly have them heard.

Since September 2024, I have been part of WO2Net. Previously, I worked as Exhibitions Project Manager at the National Military Museum and as Project Lead at the Camp Westerbork Memorial Centre, where I coordinated the development of a museum in Potočari focusing on the genocide in Srebrenica from multiple perspectives. I also authored a four-part book series on the Scholtenhuis in Groningen, including an award winning virtual reconstruction of the building.
